As part of the BID project, ‘Mobilizing biodiversity information from the Kenya Wildlife Service’, a biodiversity training workshop for Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) researchers was held. All partners related to the project were invited to participate in the workshop.
Topics covered during the workshop included:
- GIS training using QGIS software
- Training in image processing using Land Impact Tool
- Introduction to Ornithology with training given by Nature Kenya
- Introduction to Biodiversity Informatics which was taught by the National Museums of Kenya.
